Procedures Per School

Each school has its own processes for nominations and elections; we are working with your Deans' offices to assemble all those procedures on this page; meanwhile, reach out to your Dean's office for details.

  • 艺术、人文和社会科学学院(CAHSS)
    • 在春季末进行参议院的提名和选举，以及其他委员会的提名和选举.

  • Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW)

    选举:参议院的选举应由各单位的大学教师成员按下列方式进行:

    1. 提名由投票单位的成员提出. 程序应规定每一选民均有机会在提名中提出姓名.
    2. 参议员应获得合理数目的提名.
    3. Elections shall be conducted by secret ballot.
    4. 投票单位的选举应当在5月1日前举行.
    5. All faculty members (as defined in Sec. B)有资格提名和竞选一般参议员的职位.
    6. The Senators at large shall be elected, by secret ballot, 在五月选举会议前的最后一次会议上.
    7. 新当选的参议员应在五月选举会议结束时就职.
  • Morgridge College of Education (MCE)
    1. 当由于学期结束或其他情况出现新的空缺时(如.g.(如休假、离校等)由MCE学院管理机构提名候选人.
    2. 在随后的MCE学院管理机构会议上, 我们接受对候选人的提问和评论. Then, faculty vote on nominated candidates.

  • College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics (NSM)

    RSECS有5个参议员职位，分布在3个部门:每个部门一名参议员，两名临时参议员.

    当有职位空缺时，RSECS会进行选举:

    • Depending on the open seat, 在相关部门(部门职位)或学院层面(一般职位)收集选票。. Whoever gets the most votes fills the position; in cases of a tie, there is a run-off election.
